Vejez is an archive of vintage lovingly sourced and (sometimes) reworked by curator Chelsea Sweitzer. In Spanish, “Vejez” means old, and so the magic of this collection lives in the new life that vintage takes on each time it goes from home to home.
Vejez x Cool And Thoughtful is a collaboration inspired by joyful friendship and the serendipity of finding the things that just click. That could be a person, a piece of clothing, a place, and there’s nothing quite like that enchanted experience of finding that thing – or perhaps, that thing finding you. Vejez Vintage is a collection rooted in good taste, creativity, and appreciation for the environment. The pieces in this curation are the kind of vintage that, regardless of the label, make you look and feel like you are really wearing something.

To celebrate the season, the power of making a difference, and the collaboration between Cool And Thoughtful and Vejez Vintage we threw a party at the Cool And Thoughtful Concept Shop -- a pop up at 249 Broome Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Artist Stephen Antonio handpainted vintage leather pieces will from the Vejez collection. These one-of-a-kind pieces will be painted live during the party, and the process go fully to The Inspired Community Project, an organization serving New York City's families of children with disabilities.
